Finally on the last stretch of my senior thesis. Here’s the first character design for Summer.

Aaand second spring character design. I’ve kind of accepted that the lady characters I design will always be more interesting than the guys. I can’t help it okay! Girls are simply more fun to dress up.

Back to senior thesis work! Here’s my first character personification of Spring.

Final piece for my autumn characters (redesigned the guy a whole bunch). I’ve gotta do a whole bunch of thesis work for the next month or so, but don’t think that means I’ll stop sneaking in some fun pieces whenever I can. Got a few things cooking :)

New character design for senior thesis, a female interpretation of Autumn. I greatly enjoy drawing hair that defies the laws of physics. 

Lady Winter, second character design for my senior thesis project (to be paired with Lord Winter from last week). She really likes Alexander McQueen.

Alright so I’m getting down with my final semester of college and will be spending a good chunk of time working of my illustration thesis. I’m doing character design still, so for my project I decided to design personifications of the four seasons and then do some illustrations involving the characters. 

Here’s the first design, for Winter. (though I still have a few things I’d like to revise) Also a face close up because I always think that detail/expression is lost in the resized version!

I haven’t posted anything from my senior thesis project in ages! Here are two new character designs. Kamose is from Egypt in 1544 b.c. and Tegan is from Ireland in the 1830’s. 

Ah you’ll have to view the fullsize for this one! After finishing The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson I kind of got an itch to design the characters, so I’ve been working on these on and off for the past few weeks. Shallan is my absolute favorite, and I’m pretty happy with her design! And there was no way Adolin wasn’t going to look like he just walked out of an anime.
