I know Brandon Sanderson is a bestselling author but sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who reads him, so THANKS SO MUCH for posting that Mistborn fanart. I love how you did Vin and her mistcloak. Now I got an itch to draw some Steel Inquisitors.

!!! Yay I’m glad there are other people who like his books around here! Yes I know exactly what you mean, his stuff is super popular is certain circles but once you breach that and wander into general fandom territory it gets kind of lonely.

And I’m happy you liked the Mistborn piece, I was a bit unsure of it since I’m just getting a feel for the characters. Hoping to do a few more pieces once I read the rest of the series. The Steel Inquisitors would be fun (though terrifying) to draw, you’d have to make sure to do some really bad ass eye tattoos!

Avoiding homework today by doing pointless fanart. I just finished the first Mistborn novel yesterday and really just wanted to do a drawing of the mist. Kelsier is really hard to draw, sorry :[

Ah you’ll have to view the fullsize for this one! After finishing The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson I kind of got an itch to design the characters, so I’ve been working on these on and off for the past few weeks. Shallan is my absolute favorite, and I’m pretty happy with her design! And there was no way Adolin wasn’t going to look like he just walked out of an anime.
